How to Care for Your BMH Artwork

Every print at Black Magic Holiday Shop is crafted with high-quality materials designed to last for years. With proper care, your artwork will remain vibrant, luxurious, and beautiful season after season.

Canvas Prints & Framed Prints

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Place artwork away from direct, harsh sunlight to prevent fading over time.

Dust Gently

Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to lightly dust the surface.

Do not spray cleaners directly onto the art.

Keep Dry

Avoid hanging art in areas with excessive humidity (like bathrooms).

Moisture can warp frames and loosen canvas tension.

Handle With Clean Hands

Always hold your print by the sides to avoid smudges or fingerprints.

Acrylic, Metal, & Premium Prints

Use a Soft Cloth Only

Gently wipe with a microfiber cloth.

Avoid paper towels — they can scratch the surface.

Do Not Use Chemicals

Glass cleaners, alcohol, and household sprays can damage protective coatings.

Seasonal Storage Tips

If you plan to store your holiday artwork between seasons:

• Wrap prints in acid-free paper or a cloth covering

• Avoid stacking heavy items on top

• Store in a cool, dry place

• Keep prints flat or upright — never bent

• Keep away from heaters or extreme temperatures

When Unboxing

• Remove all packaging carefully

• Do not use sharp objects near the print surface

• Allow canvas prints 24–48 hours to relax and settle after hanging

 Hanging Tips

• Use proper wall anchors for your wall type

• Ensure nails or screws are level before hanging

• Keep prints at least 6–8 inches above heat sources like fireplaces or vents
